Research collaboration · July 2020–December 2022

Through CAMELOT, I collaborated with Feedzai on AI for fraud prediction. We developed an interpretable, cost-aware feature engineering process.

Genomed

Scientific Consultant · 2018–2024

At Genomed, subsequently acquired by Synlab, I led the Intelligene project, which automated the generation of clinical genomics reports. One particular outcome of this collaboration was the definition of new recommended thresholds for machine learning predictions in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which we believe should be used instead of those that were being used before.

I designed the REST API for a tennis matchmaking application, built in Django. This was based on legacy code, and in collaboration with a frontend developer.

I built a web and Android application from the ground up for reporting geolocated issues to city councils. I also developed the back office supported different algorithms for prioritizing reports. The client was Spero.
